Head coach Karen Linder checks in with the first video blog of 2015, reviewing an impressive start to the season that includes wins ranked opponents Michigan and UCF.
The coach also reviews a perfect 5-0 weekend to claim the championship of the Liberty Classic. The weekend included a power display highlighted by back-to-back-to-back home runs against Quinnipiac.
You can catch your first glimpse of this exciting team that is off to a 17-6 start this Wednesday when the Flashes make the short trip to Youngstown State for a 3 p.m. doubleheader.
The Mid-American Conference season then opens with games at Buffalo on Saturday and Sunday.
Following trips to Ball State and Miami next week and a mid-week doubleheader at Pittsburgh on April 8, the Flashes finally open their home season on Friday, April 10 when Akron visits the Diamond at Dix for a 1 p.m. doubleheader. Ohio University is in town April 11 and 12 for afternoon games.
